i heavily considered calling this one the "Fawn Cardigan" or "Fawnigan", but that's for cowards.

y'all may not know who Tarantula is, but she's very special to me so this piece is named for her!

a year and a half ago i bought a house which was pretty cool. after i moved into it with my partner we realized that every morning a fawn slept under a tree in our backyard. we looked into it a bit and found out that apparently mother deer will leave their fawn in what they consider a safe place during the day while they go about their deer business, before returning in the evening to retrieve their child.

we thought that was so sweet and loved that this lil deer family had chosen our house as the safe place for the baby to sleep through the day.

i ended up naming her Tarantula, and she spent the whole summer sleeping under our tree.

this lil 4 piece line in inspired by her!
