imagine my hype when they introduced the character chad in bleach. some good, respectful, non stereotypical latino representation in what appears to be one of the coldest characters in the series.

he's also super strong and gets a unique power from everyone! man i was so hyped, he was my DUDE then he started taking L's left and right. why did dude have to get put up against the STRONGEST captain? dude gets his arm blasted off by an Espada member before the training arc.

then dude got put up against an arrancar so strong they had to bust out kenpachi just to take him down. THEN we get to the fullbring arc, the origin of chad's powers, surely this arc would be about him right?

nah, he gets ignored entirely in it.
